Sourcing is solved. That's the problem.

Every recruiting tool on the market does the same thing well: it finds people. LinkedIn Recruiter finds them. PeopleGPT finds them. The Nordic tools find them. Finding talent is a commodity now, and commodities don't win deals.

So why is hiring still broken?

Look at Sweden. 510,000 people unemployed. At the same time, 76% of employers say they can't find the talent they need. Both numbers are true at once. That is not a supply problem. The people exist. The jobs exist. What's missing is the connection between them.

The gap shows up everywhere once you look. Around 1 in 5 job offers get rejected. Of all the candidates a company interviews, only about 27% get hired. Enormous effort goes into finding and screening people, and most of it leaks out at the last step, the moment you actually have to convince someone to choose you.

That step is the hard part. And almost no one is building for it.

The entire industry is obsessed with process. Faster pipelines. More outreach. Better filters. Higher volume. It treats recruiting like a logistics problem, as if the answer to "we can't hire" is "send more messages." It isn't. The best candidate you want already has a job, already has options, and does not care about your seventeenth templated InMail.

The work that actually moves a hire is convincing. Making a specific person believe this specific team is worth their next five years. That is a content problem, not a process problem. It's the case you make, the story you tell, the reason you give someone to care.

This is what Vashly is built around, and it's what this publication is about.

We're going to write about the convince layer: why outreach fails, what makes a candidate respond, how the best teams sell themselves, and why the next decade of hiring belongs to the companies that can make talent care, not just the ones who can find it.

Sourcing is solved. The interesting problem starts after.

If you hire, build teams, or compete for people who have other options, this is for you.
